Julie Murray is an associate for the Entertainment Group at Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz, working with clients in the television, film, public relations, advertising, comedy, and publishing industries.
Ms. Murray handles production legal work for several production company clients and negotiates a wide range of transactions and agreements, including talent services agreements, attachment agreements, vendor, cast and crew deal memos, certificates of engagement, film distribution agreements, literary option/purchase agreements, writing agreements, publishing agreements, composer agreements, music, footage and photograph license agreements, and production services agreements.
Prior to joining Frankfurt Kurnit, Ms. Murray worked for twelve years in the television industry, starting her career as an NBC Page and then working at several networks and production companies producing series, specials, pilots, and presentations for MTV, Food Network, Fine Living, Nickelodeon, Discovery, CMT, and Comedy Central. Ms. Murray has extensive knowledge of television development, production and post production in both the creative and production management realms and is, therefore, well acquainted with the day-to-day needs of her clients.
She is admitted to practice in New York state.
