Jonathan J. Kim is an associate in the Litigation Group at Frankfurt Kurnit.
Mr. Kim represents corporate and individual clients in commercial business disputes in federal and state courts, and in mediation and arbitration. Mr. Kim has substantial experience in all phases of litigation, including development of strategy, early case assessment and investigation, law and motion practice, taking and defending depositions, and oral argument. Mr. Kim also has significant experience working with clients to successfully resolve complex commercial issues prior to litigation and advising on company business practices and contractual matters.
Prior to joining Frankfurt Kurnit, Mr. Kim was a litigation associate at Alston & Bird LLP and Reed Smith LLP, where he focused on commercial litigation and class action matters across a wide range of industries.
Mr. Kim earned his J.D. from Duke University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of California, Irvine. During law school, Mr. Kim served as a White House Intern to President Barack Obama in Washington, D.C. during the President’s second term. Mr. Kim also served as an extern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Central District of California and Eastern District of North Carolina.
Mr. Kim is admitted to practice in California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California, Northern District of California, and Eastern District of California.
