Molly G. Rothschild is an associate in the Litigation Group.
Ms. Rothschild represents clients in a variety of industries including publishing, entertainment, fashion, telecommunications, and law. She has substantial commercial litigation and intellectual property experience and has worked on issues involving First Amendment, obscenity, trademark, false advertising, right of publicity, and general commercial contract disputes.
Ms. Rothschild’s recent representative litigation matters include:
- Successfully defended author and publisher against obscenity claims, securing dismissal of case with a holding that the statute at bar was unconstitutional on First Amendment and Due Process grounds;
- Successfully defended telecommunications company in opposing preliminary injunction in false advertising case.
Ms. Rothschild is passionate about providing pro bono representation and has represented clients in immigration, employment, and child custody matters.
Prior to joining Frankfurt Kurnit, Ms. Rothschild was a litigation associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP and Cole Schotz P.C.
Before law school, Ms. Rothschild worked as an editor and writer for several print and digital publications. Ms. Rothschild is admitted to practice in New York and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
